It also gives us both a chance to see if we’re a good fit for one another. After all, we’ll be working closely together and it’s important we get on and actually like one another 🤍

After our call, I go away and create a bespoke proposal, complete with a tailored moodboard.

We’ll move a flower by half an inch and feel deeply satisfied.

And our van? Will never be clean. Ever.

We end up with greenery in our tea… and our bra.
We collect tiny scars on our hands from snips.

We become our couples’ agony aunt (and we wouldn’t have it any other way).

And when people say, “You’re just playing with flowers…”
Yeah — “just” that.

A two-year college course funded by myself, years of experience, constant training… and the know-how to quietly pull something extra together on the day — like dressing that table you forgot to mention — without missing a beat.

Messy. Emotional. Creative.

We’re all for getting more than one use out of your florals and styling.

My biggest advice?

Think about what you’d love for your ceremony and whether we can cleverly utilise it later in the day — usually on or around your tables.

Let’s clear up a big one…

Greenery does not make your wedding cheaper.
Sorry to say it, but it’s true!

Over the years I’ve heard it so many times:

Sadly… nope.

Greenery often works out the same price as flowers — sometimes even more.
Because we buy in bulk, I can’t just grab 3 stems here and there. I have to order full bunches (usually 10 stems per bunch), and the cost varies throughout the year.

First up… Sophie & Nathan at Middleton Lodge 🤍
Sophie knew exactly what she wanted and fully trusted me to run with her idea — and honestly, that trust means everything. I still think about this set-up all the time… soft, romantic, and completely dreamy. Still not over it.

And then we have Anne & Tom at East Riddlesden 🌿

Anne wanted a full, wildflower-inspired arch — and she went for it. I’m so proud of how this one came together. I remember being so excited for Anne to see it for the first time… pure magic.

Two couples, two very different vibes, and I adored creating every single stem.

Day 11 of advent – Floral Care Tip 🌿✨

Want your bouquet to stay fresh and gorgeous on the wedding morning?

Here’s how to give her the best start:

💧 Keep her in water for as long as you possibly can.
If your photographer takes the bouquets out for photos, just ask them to pop them straight back in afterwards.

☀️ Avoid direct sunlight.
It’ll make your blooms wilt quicker than you’d think.

🔥 Keep away from heat.
No radiators, no warm windowsills, no underfloor heating — flowers hate it.

A few simple tweaks and your bouquet will look picture-perfect right through to “I do” 🤍🌿

Want your bouquet to stay fresh and gorgeous on the wedding morning?

Here’s how to give her the best start:

💧 Keep her in water for as long as you possibly can.
If your photographer takes the bouquets out for photos, just ask them to pop them straight back in afterwards.

☀️ Avoid direct sunlight.
It’ll make your blooms wilt quicker than you’d think.

🔥 Keep away from heat.
No radiators, no warm windowsills, no underfloor heating — flowers hate it.

A few simple tweaks and your bouquet will look picture-perfect right through to “I do” 🤍🌿

Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary to Blossom and Adam ❤️

They married at @bowcliffehall right in between lockdowns — finally able to say “I do” on their fourth attempt.

Restrictions meant they were only allowed a very small number of guests, everyone masked and spaced 2 metres apart. It was intimate, surreal and incredibly emotional.

I’ll never forget their wedding day. So much love, relief and joy in one moment.
